Set in the ancient woodlands surrounding Biblins Campsite you will learn how to make a fire safely. Make artists’ charcoal on the fire. Use a map to navigate to find sources of ochre and spring water to make paint. Forage for materials to make paint brushes. Use your own hand made materials to make authentic Stone Age Art.
This activity can be related to the formation of new materials, Global Warming and our Stone Age ancestors.
