Activities

We provide a wide range of outdoor activities and learning on site, in the surrounding ancient forest and on the lovely River Wye

About Our Activities

Outdoor Adventures and Learning at Biblins

We hold an AALA Licence to deliver Adventurous Activities and an LOtC Quality Badge. Our experienced team of instructors hold current DBS, First Aid, National Governing Body Awards and in house training for the activities they deliver. We provide day visit activities and programs for groups staying at Biblins. We work with schools, youth groups and families. We tailor activities to your needs, including personal development, curriculum based learning, adventure and fun.

‘ When planned and implemented well, learning outside the classroom contributed significantly to raising standards and improving pupils’ personal, social and emotional development.’ Ofsted

‘There is a substantial body of evidence that shows a positive link between learning in the natural environments and a very wide range of learning processes and outcomes, and health and wellbeing outcomes too.’ Council for Learning Outside the Classroom

Our outdoor programs foster personal development and improve relationships. They facilitate cross-curricular learning. Being away from home on a camping residential trip provides the opportunity to develop independence, take responsibility for oneself and gain an understanding of how to stay safe in a new environment.
